I love making Lego. I made a Lego VW T1 Camper Van recently that had curtains. Yes, you read that right, the Lego Camper Van I made recently has Lego curtains. There’s every chance I’ll be back at the Lego shop before the years out to treat myself to a new set. Here’s what I’ve got my eye on.
Not only do you get to make the MINI but this set also comes with a mini lego picnic basket with a lego baguette and lego bottle of lego wine in it. Dear Santa….
Women of NASA
I suspect this will be one of the years biggest selling Christmas toys. And I’m probably going to buy one too.
Old Fishing Store
I’ve never been fishing in my life. But my Grandad did, and I have school friends that I don’t speak to anymore that still do. The guy with the moustache in this set also kind of reminds me of Quint from Jaws which is my favourite film. And so, of course, I want it.
It probably doesn’t roll as well as the real BB-8 but it does come with a display stand, decorative fact plaque, and a small BB-8 figure to complement the big BB-8 figure that I’d have hours of fun making a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. That last bit didn’t work quite as well as I thought it might. Sorry BB-8.
United States Capitol Building
I was lucky enough to visit Washington recently for the Awesome Foundation Summit. I had a tour of the Capitol whilst there and if it wasn’t for Paul Ryan’s Intern I’d have gone out onto the balcony at the front to take a selfie overlooking the Mall to send to my Mum. Cheers for that Paul Ryan’s intern, I hope you get zero Lego for Christmas.
