BICo/ Parks
Project type: words, campaigns, branding, training/consultancy
You’d have to be pretty unobservant not to have noticed the change that has swept through Liverpool over the last decade. From the outside influences and investment of big business, to the ever-growing amount of young people choosing to study here, the influx of interest and viability of the city as a global hotspot has led to drastic changes to the skyline.
But forgetting the developers for a second, what about our public spaces?
Our green spaces are a treasure, but unfortunately, we often take them for granted; overlook them. Working with Liverpool City Council, BICo’s latest project was designed to get locals using their local parks and green spaces more, and re-imagining what the parks could be.
Through a lengthy online campaign, we helped BICo stir the public imagination when it came to their parks. We used case studies of parks in other cities to spark ideas, with people presenting ideas for local schemes and initiatives.
Our BICo branding linking these separate schemes with a common thread. BICo’s branding reflects the beautiful ideas it seeks: images that connoted happiness and feelings of warmth, childlike glee going hand-in-hand with representations of past industry and future innovation. In a word; ‘beautiful’.
