IBF2018

June 2018

Project type: words, films, campaigns, magazines/newspapers, design

Print run: 10,000 per issue (3 issues)

After launching the City Tribune back in 2014 for the International Business Festival, we were approached by the team there to produce a range of content for the summer 2018 event.

Fielding over 30,000 visitors to the festival across nine days, the International Business Festival has grown exponentially, showcasing some of the best and most innovative companies and practices from all over the globe, as well as the wealth of opportunity and growth of the Liverpool City Region.

Working as a content and communications partner, our team created content across various platforms – from video and design, to editorial and print work, weaving together to form an effective multi-media campaign.

Working with a local animator, we produced an animated promotional video rolled out before the festival to build interest and attract last-minute visitors. It summed up the festival’s aims and purpose, and what it could do for entrepreneurs and businesses.

We brought the Tribune back for a three-issue run under a new guise; the Business Tribune. Designed as something to put into the hands of those attending, it became a conversation piece over a networking lunch; something to flick through over a coffee between presentations or a good read on the train. Something with teeth.

We also created a range of short and longer-form videos showcasing the best speakers and events from the festival, and interviewed some of the most forward-thinking and innovative business minds on the planet.
