Although the Baltic Triangle is seen as Liverpool’s home of burgeoning tech and digital communication, it is also home to the Liverpool Life Sciences University Technical College (UTC), a progressive science, engineering, and healthcare school.

The sister school of the Studio School, Life Sciences came to us to design and write its prospectus and website, celebrating five years of existence and the first chance to talk to former students who had graduated from university.

Like the Studio School, Life Sciences needed to reach potential students and their parents who either hadn’t considered sending their kids there or hadn’t heard of it before. As the first school in the country to deliver a specialised education in healthcare and science (and later, engineering) it offers a focused pathway into the world of work in these areas, working with leading businesses, hospitals and organisations in these sectors to provide vital real-world training and experience.

We worked closely with the team at Life Sciences to help convey its aims and the unique education it could offer to the next generation of scientists, engineers, and healthcare professionals. The prospectus itself was geared specifically towards potential students; students who hadn’t considered swapping schools halfway through their secondary education; or those who were looking for their next steps post year 11.

The prospectus covered all facets of Life Sciences UTC, from its mission and aims to its facilities and ongoing projects. We also included several testimonials from current and former students, allowing them the opportunity to explain how attending Life Sciences UTC had changed how they approach learning and how they had been set-up for life after school.

We also managed the Life Sciences UTC social media channels, organically growing the subscriber base and updating the feeds with regular relevant content.
