Royal Albert Dock Website
Completed: March 2018
Project type: words
How do you tell the story of a Liverpool institution, without covering the same-old story everyone’s heard a thousand times before? It’s not as daunting as you may think, especially when the story you’re telling is the iconic Royal Albert Dock.
We’ve been working with the team at Royal Albert Dock Liverpool since around 2007. It’s a relationship that’s included several websites, marketing materials – posters, maps, schools info and travel trade visitors.
And, most recently, in 2018, we wrote the content for a new website, alongside monthly blogs and campaign work, as it moves towards its 175th birthday in 2021.
The Dock has reinvented itself over the last few years, becoming a hot spot of independent restaurants and retailers. It’s become home to the first Rosa’s Thai Cafe outside London, and supported local businesses like Lunya and Peaberry to open new branches.
We spent a lot of time creating copy for the new site, researching, exploring, inspecting and just enjoying its awe-inspiring environs.
Each tenant was profiled, with catchy copy giving visitors an insight into the Dock’s unique offer. We also create monthly ‘inspirational’ content for the blog, introducing residents and visitors alike to the best of what the Dock has to offer.
