The idiom may say that we’re a ‘nation of shopkeepers’, but in reality, we’re a nation of makers, craftspeople and skilled workers. The With Love Project was created by brand designer Chris Roberts and photographer Rob Evans to celebrate this fact: a love letter to those keeping the British manufacturing dream alive. 

From Welsh denim, to bespoke surfboards crafted in Cornwall, Chris and Rob travelled the country, documenting as many of these makers as they could.

Backed by a successful crowdfunding campaign that raised the funds to create a book, With Love asked us to help make it a reality.

Chris came to talk to us, utilising our publishing experience in publishing to assist with ISBN numbers and book admin, proofing and copy editing before the book went off to print.

The finished product is stunning. Rob’s photography perfectly complements Chris’s words, producing an engaging read and rare insight into ‘the people who produce things with a passion and a purpose.’
